 Description:

     It is found in shallow coastal waters. Feeds on benthic worms and small crustaceans. Sold fresh and dried salted in markets. It generally distributes in Indo-West Pacific: India and Sri Lanka eastward to Thailand and Malaysia and south to New Guinea. The maximum length is 25.0 cm and common length is 18.0 cm.
