DESCRIPTION
Cyclophorus
is agenus of land snails characterized by small to medium sized, spiral shaped
shells that come in various colours .These snails are terrestrial and can be
found in diverse habitats, often associated with moist environments like leaf
litter. They are herbivorous, slow moving and hermaphroditic, laying eggs in
the soil or leaf litter. Cyclophorus snails are found in tropical and sub
tropical regions of Asia, Africa and the Pacific Islands, with some species
facing conservation concerns due to habitat loss.
