Description
Ascidian is a protochordate & it is
commonly called as “Sea Squirts”. It is a marine, sedentary animal. Didemnum is a colonial ascidian.
Stigmata in 4 rows, vas deferens coiled testis follicles not more than 2,
calcareous spicules present in the test, atrial siphon not present and they do
not open directly to the surface.
